Energy cables have already been produced over decades. A main criteria for cable producers is to organize and carry out the manufacturing process of Energy Cables in a very cost efficient way. The criteria for a machine manufacturer is to develop machines which support these requirements. This is just one central factor Rosendahl has been focusing on when developing large cable jacketing lines.
The Rosendahl jacketing line RN-M for Energy Cables achieves the highest standards for all cable sizes up to 120 mm in diameter and a weight of 25 kg per meter. The sheathing line covers a variety of cable types for the application areas of LV, MV and HV. To achieve narrow product tolerance, stable process control, operator friendly handling and high production speed have been our main focus when enhancing the production criteria. The jacketing line grants minimized start-up scrap and accurate use of input material to ensure highest efficiency. The sheathing lines of Rosendahl manage the balance of high performance with minimum input and best quality.
Each line component (Take-up, Pay-off, Extruder, Crosshead, Caterpillar) is also available as single machine and can be used for upgrades.
